NWH BECOMES THE FIRST PLANETREE FACILITY IN NEW YORK
Hospitals are seeking a softer side, a place for patients and families not to have to give up comfort and dignity just because they need good medical care. At Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, for instance, there are programs for new siblings when their mothers give birth, compassionate nurses and relaxing surroundings as a cancer patient undergoes chemotherapy, artwork and soft background music, and refuges for exhausted family members to catch forty winks.

NWH DEDICATES THE KEN HAMILTON CAREGIVERS CENTER
The Ken Hamilton Caregivers Center, a beautifully decorated, peaceful and relaxing suite designed as an oasis for family caregivers who need some personal time from the bedside of a chronically ill loved one was dedicated today at Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH). Westchester Executive Andy Spano participated in the event.
