Dr. MICHAEL H. ROSENBERG, ATTENDING PLASTIC SURGEON AT NORTHERN WESTCHESTER HOSPITAL IN MT. KISCO, IS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF STATE MEDICAL SOCIETY
Dr. Michael H. Rosenberg, a board-certified plastic surgeon who practices in Mt. Kisco, has been elected President of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) at its 202nd annual House of Delegates meeting. In this role he will help oversee all of the public health and legislative activities of the State's principle professional organization for physicians.
Dr. Rosenberg is an attending plastic surgeon at Northern Westchester Hospital, where he serves on the hospital's Board of Trustees. He also has admitting privileges at Westchester Medical Center. He is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve Medical Corps and is also a volunteer in the MSSNY Bio-Terrorism First Responder Program. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University and earned his medical degree from Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons. He was Chief Resident during both his general surgery residency training and his plastic and reconstructive surgery training during his residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. He is certified by the American boards of Surgery, of Plastic Surgery, of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and of Cosmetic Surgery.
