Northern Westchester Hospital is proud to be a member of the Stellaris Health Network, a member of the NewYork Presbyterian Healthcare System, and a designated Planetree hospital.   The Hospital also partners with numerous local organizations to further health and wellness for the entire community.

Stellaris Health Network

Northern Westchester Hospital is a member of Stellaris Health Network.  Stellaris Health Network serves as a vehicle for contracting with managed care organizations, developing state-of-the-art information systems and achieving operating efficiencies, which enable members to share resources in a way that will enhance their delivery of high quality healthcare services.  Lawrence Hospital Center in Bronxville, Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow and White Plains Hospital Center in White Plains are also members of Stellaris Health Network.

NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System

NWH's membership in the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System gives patients access to a wide range of specialized expertise, research and clinical trials, while also expanding the range of care available on-site for complex clinical conditions.  Through this affiliation, NWH also offers patients seamless transfer to one of the world's finest medical centers for treatment of conditions that require a higher level of advanced care.  NWH is also affiliated with both Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Medical College of Cornell University. 

Planetree

NWH is one of the first five hospitals in the country to receive the prestigious recognition of "Designated Planetree Patient-Centered Care Hospital." This achievement was officially announced at the National Planetree Conference in Virginia in October 2007.  NWH is the first hospital in New York State to receive this designation, which is a strong endorsement of the expertise and humanity of the entire staff. Currently, NWH is one of more than 100 member hospitals across the country that comprises the Planetree Alliance of hospitals that promote a patient-centered model of care.
